9 Ball rules

This version of Pool is played with just nine balls and one white ball. The goal is simple - to sink, at any time during the game, the ball with the number 9. To make things a little more tricky, you must always play the lowest numbered ball on the table, or else it's a foul. If you strike the lowest numbered ball first and simultaneously pocket any ball, you continue with another shot.

Fouls:

  • Failure to hit the lowest numbered ball on the table before striking another ball
  • Failure to neither pocket a ball nor for one of the balls on the table to strike one of the cushions
  • Pocketing the white ball
  • Following your opponent's foul, you may place the white ball anywhere on the table.

Snooker rules:

Snooker is played on a table with 15 red balls, 6 colored  balls and 1 white/cue ball. The object of the game is to score more points than your opponent. The game ends once all balls have been potted  or when your opponent voluntarily gives up.

Snooker has a strict order of play. Firstly, each red ball must be sunk  alternately with a chosen color. If a color is sunk in this phase then it is  always repositioned to its proper spot on the table. Once all the red balls are  sunk, each colored ball must be potted in a specific order. If potted, the cue  ball is always returned to any spot within the line at the top of the table.

The most common Fouls are:

  • Failure to hit a ball with the cue ball
  • Hitting a ball in the wrong order
  • Sinking the cue ball
  • Sinking a ball in the wrong order
  • Hitting a ball in the wrong order
  • Sinking the cue ball
  • Sinking a ball in the wrong order

Points for fouls:

  • Failure to hit any ball on the table: 4 points
